What You Will Do
Our firm’s Water Business Line, currently comprised of nearly 110 professionals, evaluates and optimizes the ability of all types and sizes of water, wastewater and stormwater facilities in order for our clients to successfully satisfy state and U.S. EPA regulations. Current technologies are utilized to achieve innovative and practical designs. Many of our projects have won state and national awards, and the volume of our water/wastewater work ranks us among the top 20 U.S. engineering firms by ENR. Additionally, our professionals serve a multitude of local, state, national, and international organizations as active community participants.
Our Water Business Line is currently looking for an Entry Level Engineer to work in our Valley Forge, PA office on various water, wastewater and stormwater projects involving planning and design.
- Assist engineers with a variety of water, wastewater, and stormwater system assignments.
- Prepare sketches and perform calculations in support of broader engineering activities involving the design of equipment, components, structures, or systems.
- Research and evaluate processes and equipment.
- Perform data analyses.
- Collect field data.
- Prepare technical reports.
- Perform engineering economic analyses.
- B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- E.I.T. required
- Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel and management
- Must have the ability to thrive in a team environment
- Must be willing to perform a wide range of entry level tasks
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- M.S. degree preferred
- Previous related internship experience
