Gannett Fleming’s Transit and Rail Business is looking for a Quality Manager to support the development and implementation of quality management strategies with a large public client in California’s Bay Area (San Francisco, CA). This role will be responsible to oversee quality for a large train communications/infrastructure program that is expected to run for several years.
The Quality Manager will engage with senior leadership for Gannett Fleming, the client, teaming partners, and stakeholders throughout their efforts. They will engage with a large project team to oversee quality and monitor progress against established plans and procedures. This individual will also be responsible for developing and maintaining internal plans and procedures.
Successful candidates should have at least ten (10) years of experience in engineering or construction management on large scale programs, serving in quality or project controls related roles. Candidates should be aware of ISO 9001 requirements and the FTA’s QMS Guidelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Management, Engineering, or related field from an accredited University.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC and/or transit infrastructure projects.
- Experience overseeing adherence to regulatory requirements and standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with owners, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Experience working on projects involving an operating railroad.
- Experience working on projects involving third rail power.
